Speaking of music in general. Some good things have happened despite our little pandemic.

Run the Jewelz have published a fantastic new album, IV. One of the best US rap things in the last 25 years.

Public Enemy also hit us with a new album thing, What you gonna do when the grid goes down? Much better than their last two albums, they must be over 100 years old by now, but Chuck D still rules and hits the nail on the head. Including an updated version of „Fight the Power“.

Zugezogen Maskulin have produced exactly the right song for this time of the year thing:

And then there were a few other releases which I would very much like to purchase and hear, but I can’t. Because they are not available in digital format outside of the fascist Apple/Amazon/Google universe. And no, I don’t want to use Spotify or any of these things. I wanna purchase and own. And because the vinyl does not include a download code or is not available from my record stores. So fuck off, I guess. What a shameful thing for so called „indy“ artists. Fuck you. Fuck you all. Fuck all of you. Fuck off and die.
