Spenden gegen Hass und Dummheit
It’s always during December when I review my finances and decide how much to donate to whom. I’ve done a lot of research over the years / decades to find projects that I consider relevant and impactful. And that meet my other criteria, like not being esoteric dickheads, wasting money on excessive bureaucracy, lacking transparency, having unacceptable standpoints or supporting terrorists. That already rules out a lot of organizations. đ (I used to donate to unhcr but stopped doing this and moved that amount to another organization in the same field.)
For years, my go-to list was Mission Lifeline, Correctiv, and Sea Shepherd. This year, I’ve added a fourth project to the list, Aula.
