Qype: Cosmopolitan Cafe TriBeCa in New York

I stayed in the hotel next door for five days and this Café became my regular breakfast and dining venue. It’s highly recommendable: They serve breakfast all day as well as a small lunch/dinner menue, sandwiches are available as well. It’s fresh, mostly organic stuff, lovingly prepared, very tasty, and provides a much welcome exception from the standard US cafe/diner fare … .
Coffee is better than Starbucks as well … .

Besides the good food, the service was also very friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed. A real gem in Manhattan – you can actually sit on one of the comfy benches, work, read, hang out, and no one is rushing you, no loud music … an oasis of peace in the midst of Manhattan.
