Was will man mehr?
It’s extremely important to make sure your balls dry out propely after a day out in the wet wilderness. After all, you don’t want to get any funghi down there. Ladies don’t dig that. 😀
But I found it extremely very super soooooo cute and lovely that my friend Yadu had that cake made at the meeting we had in London on my birthday. Thank you.
And the Reisebegleitung had the best gift wrap ever. No unicorns, but veeeery close!
What else is there to say? It’s summerfuckingtime, that means chocolate and ice cream. Found this really nice place called „xocolatl“ in Basel, I can recommend the chilled 100% cacao drink they have and their tarte au chocolat.
Maiden, Mother & Crone, for many years now a favorite of mine when it comes to lunch. Used to go there every day when I was still working at DG, not only infrequently. But last week they had a spectacularly nice lunch offering again. Check them out on Potsdamer Str., die sind mit dem Herzen dabei, gute Jungs.
Another Berlin mainstay is Vanille und Marille ice cream, simply the best, and I’ve tried them all. Still lovely after all these years! 🙂
And then there is Brandenburg … . The stinky little Bundesland surrounding Berlin. Some nice countryside for sure, but also full of Nazis, like all of Germany. We try to go hiking in the woods along the lakes on Sundays whenever possible. Some of the hikes are nice, some of them are not so much. Most of the villages/towns are ugly as fuck, especially Brieselang – if only I had a couple of hellfire missiles, I’d know where to send them. But the ugliest patches are the „official“ campgrounds, in a very German manner they are well organized and disgusting. Had to cross one yesterday, makes me puke. And they try to be funny but are not. At least the dog was enjoying himself and the walk as such was beautiful with nice Italian gelato along the way in Caputh.
