And Taranaki sunset def rule ok
The only good thing about „weather events“ like this storm is that there’s a good chance of dramatic sunsets, and the Taranaki coast is of course just the right spot for watching it. So I tore myself away from the horrible news and we went off to enjoy 45 minutes of the best nature has to offer.
On Thursday, we’re off to Ohakune, since Tongariro NP is more or less the only region that’s still ok for hiking in terms of accessibility and weather forecast for our last three days before we have to move our arses back to AKL. But thanks to my unbelievable photography skills I was able to take a picture of Mt Ruapehu from my living room in New Plymouth. How fucking amazing is that?!?!?!
btw, the best coffee in New Zealand happens to be roasted and served at Proof & Stock, New Plymouth. De-fucking-licious!
